We’re excited to welcome Trey Westphal, who joined M3 Technology Consultants on September 8 as our new Compliance Project Manager!

Trey is a CISSP-certified security professional who brings nearly 20 years of IT experience to M3TC, including more than a decade focused on cybersecurity and compliance. His career has taken him from hands-on technical support and infrastructure management to leading enterprise security programs in highly regulated environments.

In his role as Compliance Project Manager, Trey helps organizations strengthen their cybersecurity maturity, prepare for audits, and implement practical security controls that align with their business objectives. His areas of expertise include Microsoft 365 security, identity and access management, vulnerability management, and compliance frameworks such as CMMC, NIST, SOC 2, and StateRAMP.

Outside of work, Trey enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, trying new recipes, mixing craft cocktails, walking his German Shepherd, and dreaming about a future family trip to Australia.

Fun Fact: Trey started his IT career back when short-sleeved dress shirts and clip-on ties were still considered acceptable tech attire. Technology has come a long way, and thankfully, so has the dress code.

His favorite quote, “Be the change you wish to see,” is a fitting reflection of the perspective he brings to his work and the M3TC team.
